Press Release Body = With festive season round the corner all the markets are experiencing a steep boost in the sales . However, IT market remains out of the league, as the industry tends to remain natural in the period.
According to the channel partners one of the main reasons for the paradox can be that in these days consumers give more priority to consumer durables keeping the IT products and peripherals on the secondary list.
Speaking to itVARnews, CMD, Park Electronik (Delhi), Ajay Kumar said, \"Instead of going up during the festive season or near Diwali time the sales tend to drop down, as the consumers generally get busy in the festivals and they have their own priorities fixed for the season, which is other than buying computers or any other IT product\".
Apart from that the other reason can be that most of the dealers and distributors themselves are on holidays, hence, less business takes place. Director, Balaji Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Kolkata),Rajendra Seksaria said, \"Since last month the sales have been declining because of the Durga Pooja and now with Diwali approaching, the sales are expected to show the same trend\".
However, this drop in the sales is almost marginal that hardly affects the growth rate. \"Sales do come down but since it\'s only for a few days, the declining rate is minimal and we can say that the situation remains unaffected\", commented Director, Corporate Infosystems India Pvt. Ltd. (Mumbai), Deepak Sarin.
Although majority of the channel partners say that the business remains impervious, a few of them share a different opinion. Director, Softek Surya (India) Pvt. Ltd. Dinesh Chopra commented, \"With changing times, now PCs and laptops are no more luxury items but have become necessary items. People want to buy them and in particular, the end users are the main forces that boost up the sales during the festivals\".
Although, some people expect a jump in the sales graph but the majority of channel partners agree that the sales in context to IT Industry remains unaffected. And if at all any changes are there, whether up or down, it's almost negligible. for more News http://www.itvarnews.net
